Eng 201-00AA / Advanced English Composition (Honors Section)Dr. Zachary Killebrew came to Peru State College in 2020 after leaving his position as a Teaching Assistant at Northern Illinois University where he taught courses in writing, grammar, and literature and supported students through tutoring, conferencing and study groups. Other courses he has taught include Rhetoric and Composition, Writing for Publication, and Research Methods.
Dr. Killebrew served as the Executive Officer for the University Graduate Colloquium Committee and has served as a First-Year Composition Mentorship Program Mentor and First-Year Composition Program Assessment Assessor. He has been active in publishing and book reviews and has mentored beginning Graduate Assistants. While at NIU, he has managed on-line learning communities and analyzed student data.
Dr. Killebrew received his Bachelor of English from Illinois Wesleyan University, his Master of English and PhD in English from Northern Illinois University.
