  • Rachel Rolf joined Peru State College as an Assistant Professor of Business Administration in January 2022. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Creighton University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas.

Prior to joining Peru State, Rachel served as the General Counsel for Trinity University, a private liberal arts college in San Antonio, Texas.  While at Trinity, she had the opportunity to serve on the Negotiated Rulemaking Committee on Sexual Harassment/Assault and Title IX Training Advisory Committee for the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board in relation to new Texas law.  She previously worked as an attorney in the Office of the General Counsel at the University of Kansas, during which time Rachel progressed from Assistant to Associate General Counsel and also served as Interim General Counsel. Rachel began her legal career in the private practice of law at the law firm McAnany, Van Cleave, and Phillips P.A. in Kansas City, Kansas.  In addition to practicing law, Rachel has consulted with the National Center for Campus Public Safety as faculty for its Trauma-Informed Sexual Assault Investigation and Adjudication program.

Rachel has extensive experience speaking and training at a local, regional, and national level on a host of issues relating to the law and education, including, for example, with the National Association of College and University Attorneys, Independent Colleges and Universities of Texas, Association of Title IX Administrators, and National School Boards Association. She has welcomed the opportunity to turn her love of teaching into a full-time role at Peru State.  When she is not working, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband and son, playing tennis, and taking care of her family’s many pets and farm animals.
