Chem 303-00AA & 00AB / Organic Chemistry & LabDr. Welsh earned his BA in Chemistry from Benedictine College. His PhD in Biochemistry was awarded from the University of Notre Dame in 1995. His PhD thesis, “Function of Endoplasmic Reticulum Phospholipids on UDP-GlcNac:Dolichol Phosphate GlcNac-1-Phosphate Transferase of the Dolichol Cycle” was based on research into protein and lipid biochemistry.
Dr. Welsh teaches courses in general chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, Experimental Biology and Molecular Biology.
