Program Overview
The Bachelor’s in Natural Science Program (B.S., B.A.) consists of core courses that provide you with a strong foundation for advanced study. The program aims to equip you as a competitive candidate for entrance to the nation’s top graduate and professional schools.
The program’s Biochemical Science option is designed for students planning to enroll in post-graduate (M.S., Ph.D.) or professional school (e.g., medical or pharmacy school) or begin a career in industrial, agricultural or environmental chemistry.
The Disease and Human Health option is designed for students planning to enroll in a graduate program in epidemiology and public health or professional school in medical or human health care.
The Biological Science option is for students who intend to enroll in a graduate or professional school (e.g., medical or veterinary school).
Finally, the Wildlife Ecology option is for those interested in careers in conservation management, environmental science, resource management and other wildlife-related fields in governmental agencies or nongovernmental organizations.
