Program Overview
The English as a Second Language (ESL) Supplemental Endorsement will prepare an individual to be certified in the State of Nebraska to teach English as a Second Language in the grade levels for which they are prepared. This ESL Endorsement is limited to an individual who holds, or earns concurrently, a subject or field endorsement. Upon successful completion of the ESL Endorsement within these parameters, the teacher candidate is eligible for certification to teach English as a Second Language in grades pre-kindergarten through twelve.
