Summer Bridge

The SSS Summer Bridge Program

The Summer Bridge Program at Peru State College is an exclusive experience for new SSS members designed to give you a head start to your freshman year. You will move on campus early, meet fellow SSS members and staff, and complete a one-credit course.  You also have the option of completing Bobcat Brush-up - a noncredit math refresher before summer bridge starts.

Summer Bridge – August 11 - August 17, 2023

Summer Bridge helps new SSS members understand the expectations of college, the resources available on campus, and earn college credit. It also allows participants to forge strong bonds among SSS members and staff.

  • Orientation to the Peru State College experience
  • Introduction to SSS services and programs
  • Social and cultural activities
  • Mentoring
  • Academic Advising

 

Program Costs

The SSS Summer Bridge program is financially supported by a federal TRiO grant and Peru State College. All tuition, room and meal charges are waived; all course materials are provided at no charge to the student. The only cost you will need to pay is the fees on the 1-credit course (approximately $75) which is included in your fall bill.
