Security Guard - Part-time

Start Date


Peru State College is seeking applicants for a part time Security Guard to work approximately 16 – 20 hours per week Mid July – Mid May and to fill in for vacations, holidays, sporting events and campus activities.  This position may work any shift including evenings, nights, and weekends.

Salary


Salary is $15.00 per hour. Clear background check is required.

 

Qualifications


High School graduate or equivalent and prior security experience preferred. Clear background check is required.

 

Responsibilities


Responsible for:  patrolling campus grounds on foot, by vehicle, and/or bike; Ensuring the security of campus property, students and personnel; and enforcing campus policies.

This position is temporary in nature and may be discontinued at any time at the discretion of the College without cause or advance notice.  This position is subject to veterans preference.
