Office Assistant - Part Time

Student Support Services seeks qualified applicants for a part time office associate. This person will join our existing team of a director and three professional staff.

 Pay will be a minimum of $12.00 per hour depending on experience.

This hourly position does not include benefits, is temporary in nature and may be discontinued at any time at the discretion of the College without cause or advance notice.

Qualifications


The ideal candidate for this position will have earned college credits, have work experience in an office setting and good organizational skills as well as an out-going personality and excellent interpersonal skills.  Applicants must possess excellent customer service skills, knowledge of Microsoft office products, effective verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritize assigned tasks, multitask and be detail oriented.  

Responsibilities


Working approximately 15 hours per week during the school year, this position is responsible for data entry, file management, assisting with student outreach, ordering supplies, running reports, and similar duties for the federally funded TRIO Student Support Services Grant. 

This is a part time position with convenient hours between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday from mid-August through mid-May (with satisfactory performance employment may be renewed each year of the funded grant currently until 2025).  Approximately 15 hours per week; specific schedule to be negotiated with the individual hired.
