Dr. Khatri was born in Kathmandu, Nepal. He has lived in several different cities
around the world over the years but considers New York City home as it is the city
where he spent a large chunk of his childhood. Dr. Khatri currently serves as Assistant
Professor of Psychology at Peru State College. He earned his doctoral degree in Clinical
Psychology at Albizu University, Miami Campus in 2015. During graduate school, Dr.
Khatri completed clinical rotations in several settings, such as child psychology,
health psychology and forensic psychology. He completed his postdoctoral residency
at University of Florida’s outpatient psychiatry and addiction clinic in 2017.
In addition to his clinical background, Dr. Khatri taught several courses such as
Introduction to Psychology, Social Psychology and Abnormal Psychology as an adjunct
faculty at Indian River State College, Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, and
Acupuncture and Massage colleges. He taught as a full-time psychology faculty at Western
Nebraska Community College from 2017 to 2019 before joining Peru State College. Dr.
Khatri loves playing tennis, as well as traveling around the world to experience different
cultures and taste a variety of foods.
