Counseling
How do I schedule an appointment for counseling, life coaching, career services or undeclared academic advising?
The counselors at Peru State are having to make modifications to their work schedule
but setting appointments is still easy! If you know who you want to work with, please
contact them directly. You can reach Janell Moore at jmoore@peru.edu / 402-872-2369 or Jamie Eberly at jeberly@peru.edu / 402-872-2436 . Appointments are currently available in person, via zoom or telephone. It is up
to you how you meet with the counselors. Hours for the counseling center are Monday thru Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., but with some
notice, modifications may be possible.
How do I know if I need counseling support?
If you are asking yourself that question, it wouldn't hurt to reach out to one of
the counselors. These are uncertain times, and it can be stressful. We want to support
you the best way we can but are unable to if you don't reach out. Please consider
connecting with a counselor to determine if there is a service that might be beneficial
to you!
Are there any resources available for coping with the COVID-19 pandemic?
There is a Counseling Resources (COVID-19) page with information on coping with COVID-19.
Counseling Services, located in the CATS 202 office suite on the top floor of the
Center for Achievement and Transition Services, provides counseling and other services
at no charge to Peru State students.
